Art students of the Dr Franklin Perkins School in Massachusetts continually view and discuss pieces of artwork from history. Each week, during art class, students utilize their "Visual Thinking Strategies" to answer the following three questions about an artwork:
1) What is going on in this picture?
2) What do I see that makes me say that?
3) What more can I find?

1) It looks like there's people traveling and some people are stopping for the night, but some people are still going. 2) A lot of people up mountains and some of them have canes. 3) It looks like the man is observing something on the ground.
